Club Championships

Full members are eligible for entry in all Club Championships events, with the exception of the Veterans Singles (entrants must be 70 years of age or older) and the Minor Singles (an event for bowlers who have not previously won a Club Championship or have not played 3 or more games in the top team on Wednesday or Saturday in the previous season). 

The cost of entering a Club Championships event is $6 per entry. Payments can be paid over the bar with a receipt issued.

The draw for each event is carried out in late October and posted on the noticeboard in the clubrooms and includes dates that matches need to be completed by. Please note that you must have paid for your entry/entries to go into the draw/s. Matches should commence as soon as possible after the draws have been posted. Events can be played on any day (except Monday) from 10:00am and are arranged between the opponents. Markers for singles matches are the responsibility of the first named player on the draw sheet. Wherever possible, the first two rounds of each event should be completed prior to Christmas.

Casual dress is to be worn when playing the rounds and semi finals, but the club uniform is required for the finals. The Club Championships Manager must be informed if competitors are not able to meet any completion dates of matches. The Club Championships Manager has the capacity to declare a game as forfeited or no result if one or more players is deemed to not comply with the tournament rules.
